About Coaching
Coaching a quick definition:
“Coaching, as defined by the International Coaching Federation, is a partnership between the Coach and the Client. The goal is to engage in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential.”
There are many definitions for what coaching is all about.
At Naím Coaching we believe coaching provides a unique opportunity to focus and move forward on your personal, professional or organizational goals through the exploration of ideas and candid dialogue with a confidential and unbiased thinking partner.
A coach achieves this by:
-
Helping to raise the awareness of a client with powerful questioning techniques so they can get clear on what they truly desire and who they are at their core
-
Assisting them to create practical, step-by-step action plans to reach their goals
-
Providing on-going support through any changes or obstacles a client may encounter
-
Providing a client with tools, techniques and strategies to create lasting change and success
What is the Coaching process?
-
Identify a topic or issue that you want to focus on, generally a goal that you would like to accomplish.
-
Explore ideas and brainstorm: your Coach will probe, challenge, listen and question until you have developed a clear and compelling vision and goal to move toward
-
Remove barriers: you and your Coach will identify barriers and discover points of leverage
-
Make a plan and take action: your Coach will help you develop a clear action plan to move your goals forward
-
Refine, Reflect and Support: your Coach will support and motivate you through the process to the achievement of your goals.
